Betacon

Georgia Betacon is a state-wide convention during which members of National Beta throughout Georgia gather in Savannah and compete in a variety of competitions - ranging from sciences such as agricultural science to arts events including poetry. Some tests are conducted online, while other competitions (such as live quizbowl or engineering) are conducted in person. In addition to presenting the awards for these competitions, state officer candidates run and are elected to office at the end of the convention. State Betacon is a competitive and fun environment in which Beta members can meet new people, compete (and win!!), and explore Savannah, Georgia!
